We’re the North Country Noggins — migraine warriors, family, friends, and supporters from Vermont’s northern border region, walking for a future with better migraine care. Migraine is more than “just a headache.” It’s a complex neurological disease affecting more than 1 billion people worldwide and nearly 40 million Americans, impacting work, school, family life, and everyday activities.

For people in rural communities like ours, access to specialized headache care can be an additional challenge. That’s why we’re walking and fundraising for Miles for Migraine, with funds supporting the UVM Medical Center Headache Clinic and programs that advance migraine research and treatment and improve access to care. 

Every mile and every dollar helps raise awareness and move us toward a future where everyone living with migraine can get the care they deserve. We may be from the top of the map, but migraine is at the top of our minds. 💜
