My Story…
I'm a person who has lived more of my life with migraine than without it. It's impact on my life has varied over the last 40 years, but it's always there.
In 2017, after several years of daily attacks, I had to make the difficult decision to leave my career. It was during this major life transition when I came to really understand that migraine is a disease and not something that "less stress" can solve for.
Here we are in 2025. I've reinvented myself in many ways, including starting a new career in advocacy with Miles for Migraine. Migraine is still with me every day, but I feel like I manage it much better. We co-exist and try to give each other space to for our competing needs while acknowledging each other's presence.
There are millions of people living with migraine who don't have the support they need. Please consider a donation to help support the work we do at Miles for Migraine, providing free programs and services to those who can benefit most.
